I wanted to do a big update on how things are going and I will, but first I’m taking this opportunity to make some really big changes. I’m going to do a lot more writing and sharing, and I want to have a lot more control over my content. So I am going to publish everything on my own website and then repost to wherever people are reading.
I created bagboxorjar.com a long time ago but have just never gotten around to putting it to use. It is firmly rooted in the concept that the vast majority of human beings on this planet end their time here in either a bag, a box, or a jar. Keeping that in mind should make us all a little more introspective and a lot more civilized.
My next post is going to be a big update on what is going on with my family and me, and it should be out tomorrow. After that, I’ve got ideas for several other articles or posts or whatever people call writing these days.
Every one of my posts is going to have a link to either a song or a video clip. Adding a link to that sort of content on other platforms allows for easy management of copyright issues and opens up a whole world of possibilities. Sometimes it will be something to listen to in the background while you read… sometimes it will be something on-topic for afterwards, like today. This track should be enjoyed on its own merits, not listened to in the background of anyone else’s content.
